7 Deadly Sins of Beauty Tag

I'm losing faith in the customs and postal service and their capability of delivering parcels, so I thought since I don't have any purchases to post about like I thought I would (I promised parcel hauls two months ago), I decided I would do this very old tag! I'm very unfashionably late in doing this tag, but meh.

1. GREED: What is your most inexpensive beauty item? What is your most expensive?
You all know I'm a fan of cheap and cheerful products, so my most inexpensive beauty item would be an Essence product- the one that I've gotten the most wear out of is the Metallic Eye Pencil in White Divine, which I got on sale for $1. My most expensive singular beauty item that I've bought for myself would be my Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum foundation, which I bought from ASOS. Or my brushes. The Real Techniques Core Collection cost me $24 with shipping, but without shipping, the Bourjois foundation cost me more. I know, I'm a cheapskate. I got all my high-end products from my mum. ^__^ Thanks Mum!

2. WRATH: What beauty products do you have a love/hate relationship with? Which have been the hardest to get?
Highlighter. And bronzer. I find that highlighter can look amazing and glowy at times, but can also look like oil shine. As for bronzer, I can't figure it out! All the recent 'bronzed' videos on Youtube look gorgeous (Lisa Eldridge's especially so), but it's just not for me.
The most inaccessible beauty products would probably be the same as Michelle's, which are Sleek palettes. They're only available online, and only from the UK at that. :(

3. GLUTTONY: What are your most delicious beauty products?Korres lip butters. I don't own any flavoured beauty products, but the scent of the Jasmine lip butter in particular is lovely.

4. SLOTH: What beauty product do you neglect, due to laziness?

Primer. I use my day cream as a base. Highlighter and contour come a close second (and third) but I neglect primer even more often.

5. PRIDE: What beauty product gives you the most self confidence?

Foundation. And powder. I don't wear makeup everyday, but when I do, foundation definitely makes me feel more confident in knowing my uneven skin tone, acne and hyper-pigmentation is somewhat masked (although the coverage of Healthy Mix Serum is light :p).

6. LUST: What attributes do you find most attractive in the opposite sex?

Bizarre question. But I like guys that are tall and lean, with broad shoulders, nice hair, and a kind face.

7. ENVY: What items would you most like to receive as a gift?
When faced with this question by my friends, I never know what to say in reply. However, for the sake of the tag, my answer would be perfume or palettes. Perfumes are a personal lot, but you can't go wrong with neutral palettes! Unless, of course, they already own it :p. Stella by Stella McCartney and the Urban Decay Naked palette are on my wishlist.

I should think just about everybody's done this, or has had the chance and didn't want to do this, but by all means, tag yourselves if you'd like! It's fun.

Thanks for reading, take care and God bless! xx

  1. woohoo Naked Palette yes!!!
LOL the lust question is so random xD

    1. I'm waiting til Christmas to buy the Naked palette as per my makeup diet vow! x

  2. I still enjoy reading this tag, even if it might be a late one :) The guy question is totally random though, haha. I always neglect primer - I have the FOA one and I can't say I really see it does anything. I've occasionally been using Embryolisse as my primer, but even then I still have to put it on top of my existing Dove Essential Nutrients day cream (which I find amazing by itself as a foundation base anyway). I can't figure out bronzer/contouring either - I think my face is just not designed for it lol

    1. Looking forward to something on the Embryolisse, having heard so much about it online! Lol I completely agree- my face isn't suited to contouring either hahaha.

  3. Haha, yeah I have been out of the blogging scene for a while haven't I? It also means I need to catch up on all of your new blog posts! I never seem to neglect primer when I wear foundation; I put it over my moisturiser out of habit. And a haul?!? :O!! Heh. ;) What did you end up buying from there?? :P

    1. That's a good habit to keep- I'm just getting into the routine of day cream. Oh well- baby steps! Hehehe it's hardly a haul- I only got the Comfort Zone palette and a Revlon Super Lustrous lipstick. I tried to keep it minimal. :)
