Korean Beauty Haul

I ordered a few Korean beauty bits from eBay (link to seller here) and they arrived today, safe and sound, so I thought I'd share since Korean makeup isn't the easiest to come by. I know Lioele has its own Australian website but everything I wanted was out of stock and it worked out cheaper getting it from Korea directly.

I ordered a Skin79 VIP Gold Super+ Triple Functions BB Cream but didn't photograph it because it's for my mum. The rest of the stuff is from Lioele, who get it right when it comes to packaging.

Lioele Water Drop BB Cream
I tested this out and it's a curious little thing. I didn't really get it when everybody said it formed little water droplets when blended out but I see it now and I'm not sure if I think it's really cool or a waste of time. The BB Cream itself is good- not grey at all.

Lioele Blooming Pop Orange Tint
Similar to Benefit's Cha Cha Tint, this orange-coral tint comes with a nail polish-style brush and feels a little watery. It blends easily and looks very natural (read: sheer) once blended out. Unfortunately, like the Benefit tints, it stains if not blended quickly. It's very pink-based, and stains a coral-pink.

Lioele Artist Auto Eyebrow Pencil in 03 Grey-Black
I bought this after hearing Jen from frmheadtotoe rave about it for ages and it's promising. The waxy pencil needs some wearing in but once it's swiped a couple of times it's fine and matches Asian brow hairs really well.

Lioele Blooming Gloss in 05 Vanilla Pink
This was an impulse buy, thrown into the mix after seeing Bubzbeauty wear it in her Makeup For Glasses tutorial. I really like it- I feared it would too light to wear often but it's a nice medium pink. If you've ever tried Korean plum candy (which I can't find anymore! No!), it smells just like that. I like.

The seller kindly included this mahusive amount of samples:

They included a sample of the Lioele Triple the Solution BB Cream, a tonne of Tony Moly sleeping packs and a Tony Moly sheet mask, complete with JYJ, guyliner and poses. How generous.

  1. Love Korean makeup and their dramas ;D
I was excited to see Micky Yoochun on the Tony Moly package :D
And the lipgloss looks so nice!

    1. Koreans have really nailed their distinctive style of makeup! I'm a huge fan of kdrama. The lip gloss is really nice but I don't use it as often as I should.

  2. Lioele packaging is so pretty!
I didn't know they had an Aus website!
I recently got a Lioele BB Cream too :)

  3. Lovely little haul! The products look pretty interesting!

  4. wow the seller is so generous with samples! ^_~

  5. Ah this is awesome! Thank you for the link to the seller, I've always wanted to try that BB cream but I didn't know if I could trust online sellers with it, thank you! And so many samples! Haha!!

  6. I like the look of that BB cream. Great blog hun

Check out my blog and follow me maybe?

  7. Wow, that's a lot of included samples! The tint looks so much like Cha Cha Tint, which might be a touch more coral. Still, just from the pictures it looks pretty much the same. The brow pencil would be something that I'd be interested in trying, especially after seeing Jen use it so much. Though I never do my brows so it'd probably just sit there collecting dust except for special occasions :p

    1. I swatched Cha Cha Tint at a counter the other day and it's definitely more pigmented than the Lioele version, which is very sheer. I'm loving the brow pencil- it's the one thing from this haul that I use very regularly.

  9. gorgeous style, adoring your blog miss!
would love to see you wearing casper&pearl one day!

lots of love from the c&p girls,
    casper&pearl blog

  10. I've heard some pretty good things about Lioele products but I haven't had the chance to try any out yet.
And yay for all the free samples! I LOVE when sellers are generous enough to give me a handful hehe
