My Kind Of Universe

Bag content.

Sunset city view from Victoria Park Golf Course when we went to try putt-putt. It's pretty simplistic in terms of the setup but even if there weren't any crazy windmills or dinosaur-themed elements to it, it was super fun and close by.

Learnt to delicately cut open a pomegranate instead of bashing it.

Trying new Koko Black flavours when passing through Indooroopilly Shopping Centre- I was tossing up between the mango+vanilla in dark chocolate and the caramel mousse in milk chocolate and decided to get both. I'm eyeing the Dulce de Leche and the Strawberry Ganache Hearts next!

$10 Pad Thai and Hokkien Noodles for lunch at Siam Samrarn in West End

Not happy, Jan. Oozing enthusiasm for posing.

Bi-polar Brisbane weather- scorching, humid, fine and hailing all in a day's work.

Visited the Gallery of Modern Art. They brought back some of the old interactive installations from 2009-2010.

Cobbled together a picnic from the Cabassi Grill, Sushi Sushi in Coles and Raw Juicery at the Gourmet Fresh section of Indooroopilly.

Pudding Camera wasn't easy to find, but it's a pretty fun app.

Made chocolate-stuffed French Toast with thick cut raisin toast, Ferrero Rocher, Hershey's Kisses and mango.

Lunch at The Summit restaurant on Mt Coot-tha.

Mixed entree plate

Salmon with sweet potato gratin and asparagus

Citron meringue tart with brandy snap

Made heart-shaped pineapple tarts one evening.

Tried my hand at baking bread. Seeing yeast do its thing is so satisfying. I've got my eye on cinnamon buns or coffee scrolls next.
