Trialing Trilogy

I recently received this little freebie from a (male) friend (who was completely indifferent about it) and I, on the other hand, was extremely excited to replenish my stocks of Trilogy products because everything I've tried from the NZ brand has been very effective and nourishing (just like fellow Kiwi Antipodes!). Given the adorable tin bauble, I believe this little kit is from Christmastime and it contains miniature samples of 'Trilogy's Favourites'.

I already love the Rosehip Oil Antioxidant+ and finished my full bottle of it earlier this year. This dinky 2.5mL bottle is so cute with its tiny pipette and more importantly, rosehip oil is the secret to regulating and reducing oily-combination skin as it nourishes the t-zone and replenishes the skin, leaving it generally producing less sebum. I was happy to see a Cream Cleanser included, as I've been looking for an alternative to my usual gel cleanser to use around my eyes and cheeks in winter where the gel cleanser tends to leave my skin feeling a sort of tautness. I've never tried cream cleansers, but it's quite similar to my The Face Shop Green Tea Cleansing Cream which I use to remove makeup, and requires a damp face flannel to remove all traces of its oil texture. I've tried the Rosapene Night Cream from my last foray into Trilogy products and it's a good night cream. The scent is rather strong but I've realised that it's a characteristic of all Trilogy products. Despite seeing it on the shelves numerous times, I've never tried the Everything Balm before but I think it's going to come in handy for cuticles and dry patches. The miniature sizes of the products is a cuteness overload. Super keen to put these products to good use in my routine!
