Holding My Breath

And exhale... These past couple of weeks has been uber stressful (do people even use uber as an adjective anymore?) and I'm so relieved to be done with the closing round of exams for yet another semester. Set to graduate mid-2016, so I should only have 2 more rounds of them to handle! This is just going to be a short and sweet little picture post because I finished exams yesterday so I've been been cooking and vegging out to Netflix (nearly finished Daredevil at the moment!) to my heart's content. I hope you guys aren't bored with seeing shared content between my Instagram and these types of posts! I guess I like elaborating a bit on my pictures more than Instagram allows.

Some of the Priceline Skincare bag contents and some of the purchases I/my sister made to obtain the bag. I'm not going to need to buy face cleanser, body lotion, hand cream or lip balm for a very long time. It was a really good one this year too! Hashtag noragrets

Delicious, affordable donuts! They're nicer than the infamous Doughnut Time ones, which were dry and bready. At $3.50 for unfilled and $4.50 for filled, and $21 for 6, Donut Boyz goods are a real steal. Definitely coming back to get a 6-pack when they have Lemon Meringue and the other flavours I want. The day we went they didn't have any filled ones that looked especially exciting/enticing.
My life. *wails* I'll be done on Thursday the 25th! On the upside, I think I've finally learnt how to study properly and I have found my favourite place on Uni campus (Architecture Music library) to hide out and study all day long, which will prove handy in the future. It's probably one of the very few libraries on campus that doesn't stink from food and feet, has seats and computers readily available and isn't full of laughing kids throwing paper at each other.

CAN YOU TELL I LOVE THIS PLACE?! Went back to NKB Express for a swotvac lunch break before my final exam! There are more places popping up around Brisbane quicker than I can keep track so for us to return to one that we've been to before means it's got to be really good. Love love these guys as a good burger joint- delicious burgers in a cute eatery fashioned like a 1940's diner with a seafoam theme.

Organic chicken breast, avocado & corn salsa, cos lettuce and chipotle mayo on a toasted sesame seed bun. It was SO GOOD. And I ate it the messy way without cutting it in half. We highly rate their fries and milkshakes too!

Taught my sister how to make salted butter caramel popcorn! Popcorn is unbelievably easy to make from popping corn in a pot with a tiny bit of oil. Popping corn also ridiculously cheap to buy.

Made a dry caramel and turned it into salted caramel sauce to serve with an apple pie, and used some of it in this almond milk shake. I've had enough of salted caramel for a while.

More of the homemade granola with almond milk and banana!

Made 'sunshine eggs' or whatever they're called- basically fried an egg in a cutout of soy linseed toast with bacon and cheese. I love making breakfast at home for my family- it's quick and easy and just the right amount of creative to get my brain working in the morning. I've done pancakes, waffles, French toast and fry-ups and they're a real treat.
