December Favourites

Sneaking in a December Favourites before 2015 comes to a close because I've found some favourites worthy of mention. December's been pretty crazy- work was extremely stressful and hectic in the lead-up to the Christmas season but the holiday period has been great to take a breather and relax. I've been feeling spendy and buying presents for others and presents for myself and I'm looking forward to ringing in the new year in a couple of days! I've found some great products that I can highly recommend because they've impressed me greatly in some form during the month of December!

Zara Femme Eau de Toilette Rollerball
Zara opened in Brisbane a few weeks ago and I was so excited to have a look through this store that I had heard so much about online, and one that I hadn't ever taken seriously when I browsed in shops abroad because I hadn't been interested in what they had to offer until now. I was trying the perfumes and found some amusingly shameless copies of designer perfumes so when I was buying some things a couple of weeks ago I was so excited to see a rollerball release. I love the scent of Femme because I don't have anything in my collection that's as vanilla-y or warm as this. My modest perfume collection is mostly floral or fruity floral so this is a nice change. In case your interest is piqued, Zara do both women's and men's fragrances and they're extremely affordable as well.

Ecotools Custom Coverage Buffing Brush
After giving my sister my Real Techniques Buffing Brush, I needed a new brush for my mineral powder application because my Ecotools Bronzer Brush that I was using started shedding and in hindsight it was too big and too dense for mineral makeup anyway, so I ordered a few new brushes from Ecotools on iHerb and this was one of them! It's a smaller brush but it's so plush and it's a good density to apply mineral powder. I've included one too many photos of this brush to demonstrate what it's like but I really like it and it can do both liquid and powder foundation.

Tresemme Perfectly UnDone Wave Creating Sea Foam for Soft Waves
I posted about this in my September + October favourites and I'm including it in this month's favourites because I can't put it down! It's so good at transforming freshly washed hair or day-old hair, making it less frizzy, more voluminous and looking healthier. I use it about 3-4 times a week and I've used half of it already so for someone who hardly uses hair products this is a big deal.

Antipodes Juliet Skin-Brightening Gel Cleanser
My skin hasn't been the best lately and I changed cleanser to help it out- reverting back to this one that I used to use. I posted about my stripped-down skincare routine here and I'm managing my skin with clay masks, this cleanser, Lush Angels on Bare Skin cleanser, the Jeunesse Luminesce serum and rosehip oil. This cleanser is such a good gentle cleanser and it takes away excess sebum and dirt and leaves the skin feeling cleansed without causing it to be taut or feel 'squeaky clean' so even though it's a gel cleanser it's not too drying or stripping. I'm hoping the manuka honey and all the good ingredients on the label are contributing to my blemish situation in the long run but I'm appreciating its cleansing action.

Lush Santa's Belly Shower Jelly
This is a bit of a mess now because the shower jellies contain glittery sprinkles and they're quite delicate to handle but I adore the way this smells! I loved the So White shower gel which was attributed to the So White bath bomb, and this Christmas Lush didn't bring out the shower gel again but they released this red Santa's Belly jelly with gold star-shaped sprinkles and the same delectable scent! It smells deliciously fresh thanks to apple and patchouli and I would definitely get the shower gel if they brought it back!
